Everybody Gardens editor Doug Oster stopped by Bedner’s Farm and Greenhouse for an appearance on KDKA’s “Pittsburgh Today Live.” Owner Russ Bedner offer some tips on improving your yard — most importantly, it’s never too late to add plants. They also offer some great ideas on what to plant, whether you’re looking to fill a spot in the sun or the shade.
In the second segment, Oster and Bedner look at some hydrangeas, a local tree and a deer-resistant shrub.
Hydrangea Fest started July 8 and runs through July 21. The two-week promotion will offer special deals on hydrangeas and a guest speaker at 3 p.m. July 13. Details here.
