Everybody Gardens editor Doug Oster wins national award

Everybody Gardens editor Doug Oster won a Silver Medal for his writing at the national 2018 Association for Garden Communicators Media Awards, garnering Best Garden Column (over 20,000 circulation).

The medals are awarded to the top talent nationally in more than 60 categories. Oster was awarded for the work he did for Everybody Gardens and the Tribune-Review. This is the fifth consecutive year Oster has won an award in the contest. The winners will now be entered for judging in the Gold Medal Round, where awards will be given for the best of each award class. Gold Medal winners will be announced during the 2018 Association of Garden Communicators Conference & Expo in August in Chicago.
