See the gardens and sites of Portugal with Doug this spring

I’ve been taking gardeners around the world for years, and now I am offering an incredible 13-day trip to Portugal and its islands. The Azore Islands are considered the Hawaii of Europe.

The Azore Islands are called the Hawaii of Europe. We’ll visit two different islands on my next trip.

We’ll be traveling together from April 24 through May 6, 2020, exploring much of what the country has to offer. That might seem like a long time from now, but I’m only taking 50 people maximum and already have travelers signing up.

Some of the highlights will be two separate flights out to the Azores, the Madeira Flower Festival, lots of gardens and the traditional sites of Portugal: Lisbon, Portuguese Riviera, a Fado dinner show, Fatima, Obidos, St. Michael Island-Azores, Ponta Delgada, Sete Cidades, Furnas Valley, plantation visits, a cooking demonstration, Madeira Island, Monte, a botanical garden, Cabo Girão and an Espetada dinner and show.

Lisbon, Portugal is one of the stops on my next trip abroad. We’ll have a lot of fun travelling together.

The people of Portugal are lovely, and the food is unbelievable. A local guide is with us from the time we land in Portugal to help us every step of the way. This is an easy way to travel. We always discover new gardens, cool places to eat and lots of other fun things during our free time at every stop.
