Everybody Gardens editor Doug Oster has been appearing every Thursday on KDKA-TV’s “Pittsburgh Today Live” for the past 16 years. Starting this week, his Everybody Gardens Weekend segment will now be on Fridays to get you ready to garden. Tune in at 9 a.m. to KDKA or just watch his segment on our site later. This week he’s showing how to make Valentine’s Day roses last.
Even though Doug is our garden guru, he’s also an avid outdoorsman and kayak fisherman. He’ll be appearing all three days this weekend at the 34th annual Allegheny Outdoor, Sport & Travel Show at the Monroeville Convention Center. Stop by the Everybody Adventures booth to talk gardening or fishing. He’ll appear from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
