Join myself and fellow Tribune-Review columnist Jessica Walliser at three Giant Eagle Market District stores on Sunday Feb. 28, 2016 for our monthly free gardening and cooking demonstration.

We’re presenting “Sowing Seeds Indoors Now for Your Best Garden Ever.” We’ll cover everything you need to know about planting seeds inside and making them thrive until ready to go out in the garden.

Then we’re cooking one of Jess’ favorite recipes, “Homemade Chicken and Biscuit Skillet Pot Pie.” Everyone will get a taste too.

The giveaways this month are seeds courtesy of Hahn Nursery. There are a wide range of vegetable seeds and enough for everyone to get at least one packet.

We’ll also give away some of this year’s newest gardening book releases.
