Join Doug for an exclusive tour of Phipp’s Masterpieces in Bloom and Hunt Institute Sunday 3/20

I’m giving an exclusive tour of the Spring Flower Show, “Masterpieces in Bloom,” at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden lead by exhibit coordinator Jordyn Melino this Sunday, 3/20/16. Jordyn is an amazing designer and the show is spectacular. I’ll be interviewing her as we all walk through the show. It’s going to be a lot of fun. The only cost is the price of admission to Phipps.

First we’re going to another one of my favorite places, the Hunt Institute for Botanic Documentation, it’s one of the greatest collections of botanic art in the world. We’ll meet curator Lugene Bruno who will share her insight on the current exhibit, “Great Expectations.” I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Lugene many times, she is a fascinating person who has a deep passion for the botanic art in the collection.
