Free Organic Gardening Talk with Doug, Sunday Butler Home Show (free seeds too)

I’ll be at the Butler Home Show on Sunday 4/09/17 at 2 p.m. talking about how to have a great garden organically. The show is filled with over 100 exhibitors and has free admission. It’s held at the Family Sports Center on RT. 68.

I’ll also be giving away seeds as part of the Seed for a Cause Community Harvest program. I’ve teamed up with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to give gardeners Swiss chard seeds. You grow them out and then donate the harvest to you’re local food pantry. There’s information on the seed packet to find a place to donate, or go here to find out more.

Swiss chard is easy to grow and highly nutritious. Plant some and donate it to help the hungry.
