For the first time the Everybody Gardens team will be presenting a Facebook Live from Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16. The event will be carried live at the Everybody Gardens Facebook Page.

I’m hoping you’ll have questions for myself and two staffers from Phipps. I’ll be talking with my friend Jordyn Melino, who is the associate director of exhibits, about what it takes to design the different seasonal shows at the conservatory. My friend Curt Pesanka, indoor display foreman, will also join us to give us the lowdown on the tools he uses in the garden. There’s some really cool stuff that’s been at Phipps for as long as anyone can remember.
